About Collective Consciousness Theatre

We believe that theatre is a powerful art form that can inspire others, help them to imagine the possibilities, and push them to ignite social change. We know that theatre changes lives and makes the world a better place when presented in a thought-provoking, engaging, and honest way.

Our productions and original works are designed to educate, break barriers, and build community by exploring themes of social justice, poverty, stereotypes, racial and gender identity, and more. CCT productions have toured in schools, youth facilities, prisons, regional and community theatres, and across various communities in Connecticut and the U.S.

Based in the artistic and cultural hub of New Haven, Connecticut, CCT works with local activists, actors, artists, composers, designers, directors, musicians, and writers.
